All this from the original post - no longer see the green background appear to indicate window snapping in 15.04 MATE Beta 2. Which I think it is good because it is much cleaner looking and acting.
"So far I have not noticed this in the same way with Ubuntu Mate 15.04 Beta 1 in the latest version of Virtualbox, and cannot reproduce it with the steps above. When grabbing a window to "snap maximize" it looks like it first renders it unmaximized, then you see the green background, and when you release the button after the "snap maximize" the green background goes away and the window is maximized. As you would expect. However, I was playing around with the terminal window in UM15.04-B1. 3 successive clicks in the title bar to maximize/unmaximize, and the green background for window snapping freezes. When my mouse is moved over top of the minimized program icons/rectangles in a bottom tray, the green background goes away. Moving the mouse into the top panel accomplishes this, as well as moving it to a bottom panel and returning the mouse to over the terminal. See attached screenshot." -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1433396 Title: MATE 14.04: Window Snapping "freezes" with red background To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1433396/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
