Hi Justin, I think that's a bit too simple. My annoyance is that when the setting is set to idle, it doesn't go back to *where it was,* but to some default value. A true fix would be to make it remember the previous setting when it goes into "idle mode", and then restore the backlight to *that* setting when returning from idle mode.
