Christopher, some things of note: 1. I went a bit over two days on 4.0.0-040000rc4-generic without a lockup. I noticed that there was an ....rc5 out today. I installed and booted into it, none of my extension settings from Gnome Tweak Tool would take. At the same time 3.13.0-48-generic #80-Ubuntu SMP came down the pipe as a Ubuntu update. I installed it and booted into it at 3:21 this afternoon. Will keep notes as I have been and advise you of any lockups with and without the 'hangcheck' error.
