Public bug reported:

The bcmwl-kernel-source 6.30.223.141+bdcom-0ubuntu4 package won't
install on 14.10 because of kernel module compilation problems if you've
installed the 3.19.1 kernel. The patch attached to this issue fixes
these problems.
