I just upgraded my Macbook Air running Vivid / OSX. With upstart, it boots in about 2 seconds (SSD disc).
With systemd, it takes an eternity to boot! Also, the shutdown is much slower when with systemd = PID1. I prefer upstart, so, I'm removing this systemd-sysv thing out of my site. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1429143 Title: Slow shutdown after booting with systemd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1429143/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
