This is a valid bug. trusty and utopic are not affected, as both have lxsession packages that depend on lxsession-logout.
I believe the importance should be set to low, as installing LXDE on vanilla Ubuntu instead of installing Lubuntu or lubuntu-desktop will probably not be an action taken by most users. Can you confirm if installing lxsession-logout fixes this bug?
