Downloading one "big" (20 MB) file seems to "trigger" this, and I'll get the "Tx excessive retries:2 Invalid misc:383 Missed beacon:0". Those "mac retries" (wavemon) may be unrelated? It stayed at just 2 with this attempt to reproduce. The Invalid misc:383 I saw in "iwconfig wlan0" after DL seems to reset itself down after a few min, e.g. now back to 22.
Attached is the wifi-debug-files.tar.gz from http://people.canonical.com/~sforshee/wifi-debug, captured while DL one 20 MB file when it said "Collecting data, press Enter to stop...", if that helps. ** Attachment added: "wifi-debug-files.tar.gz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-utopic/+bug/1427431/+attachment/4332736/+files/wifi-debug-files.tar.gz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1427431 Title: WiFi issues on Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbo 2nd Gen with Intel AC 7260 (rev 83 / 0x144), high “mac retries” and Tx excessive retries:1765 Invalid misc:842.
