Public bug reported: The new screen and graphics preferences tool in Gutsy has some names and values mixed up. When you click the "model" button, a window with a list of monitor manufacturers and models opens. At the bottom of the window two values are presented: horizontal range and vertical refresh rate. These two are mixed with each other, eg. horizontal range shows the value of the vertical refresh rate and the other way round. This seems to be the case with all the monitors listed.
The word "vertical" also lacks the letter "c". At least in my system these values are presented right in xorg.conf, so perhaps this is just a layout error of the "screen and graphics" with no affect on the graphics system? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- "Screen & Graphics" mixes horizontal and vertical scan rate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139723 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
