So....

today I updated my Ubuntu installation again... automatic updates. And
yet again "a problem has been detected" with "Nvidia-updates". This is
the FOURTH time I am seeing this issue on the SAME machine. I can also
confirm it for THREE other machines with Nvidia hardware.

And this is suppose to be an LTS release?

I'd get in touch with Nvidia ASAP to get rid of this issue, since it
indeed seems to leave some systems with huge issues. Not sure how it's
going to affect me this time, updates just finished and going for a
reboot now.

Hope to survive the reboot.
