This BIOS update came out literally one hour after I reported the bug, I
updated on the same day with no effect on the bug.
As you see:
root@XPS12-9Q33:~# dmidecode -s bios-version && dmidecode -s bios-release-date

The bug stays the same - after a grace period of a few minutes up to an
hour or so, the connection drops, subsequent connection attempts are met
with failure as outlined in the original report and documented by dmesg
log.
