In version 1.2.0 there is no more diodon-plugins packages as all plugins we integrated into core or integrated into the package unity-scope- diodon. It might appear again in a future version.
In terms of nothing being added to the history I most likely think it has to do with the problem described here: http://esite.ch/2014/08/11/why-does-diodon-not-save-anything-to-the-clipboard-history/ Can you please confirm?
