Tested on v3.19-rc3-vivid and DKMS would not build the nvidia drivers (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics- drivers-331-updates/+bug/1268257). The same thing happened with a manual dkms update. During reboot, Ubuntu segfaulted and the system had to be hard power cycled.
