Public bug reported: Whenever I start the LIRC-Demon it dies after a split second for, apparantly, no reason. This is also indicated by IRKICK which shows, right after the start of LIRCD, that it is connected to the LIRC demon and one second later it tells me that the link between the two has been disconnected.
Installed packages are: kdelirc_4%3a3.5.7-1ubuntu4_i386.deb lirc_0.8.2-0ubuntu5_i386.deb lirc-modules-source_0.8.2-0ubuntu5_all.deb I normally report bugs using apport. However, apport doesn't seem to recognize the dying of LIRCD so I had to do this manually. Please tell me which outputs you need. Since this is reproduceable, I'll be able and happy to provide them. ** Affects: lirc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- LIRCD starts up and dies right away https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139301 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
