This path of xymon-client's postinst is only taken if either the user or
group "hobbit" exists.
Has hobbit-clients been installed and later removed (but probably not
purged) on that system in the past? Does the user or group "hobbit"
still exist? Does the issue persist after "dpkg --purge hobbit-client"?
