I have exactly this same issue. My Exchange evolution account shows new mail in the side bar, but nothing in the mail message list. I also have an imap account that works without problem: it shows new messages in the side bar and also in the mail list.
It is random and a DEBUG gives no clue. I am using 7.04 with all updates as of the time of this message. Anyone have any ideas on this?
