Hi Phillip, Mea Culpa.
I was testing an mSATA drive in a system with a faulty mSATA slot - hence the error messages in the log. I've since put it back in a system with a good mSATA slot (I only have one drive to test with, so it bounces around a lot) and re-run the installer and was unable to duplicate the error. Either I was using an older install image on my USB drive, or it was simply a case of user error. Whichever it was, it appears that the bug has, in fact, been resolved. My apologies for dredging this up. ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1241867 Title: installing with LVM over old install with LVM results in unable to install bootloader To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1241867/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
