Public bug reported:
Users may expect it to reset the defaults for the chosen profile but in
the case of "unity" far from it.
Test case:
Install compizconfig-settings-manager
Open ccsm > Preferences
Leaving the profile on the default of unity click on the Reset to defaults
button

Basically most of the default ubuntu session plugins are disabled inc. Ubuntu
Unity plugin
