I am seeing this problem with an imac 24" with a built in 1920x1200 display and an additional 1920x1200 Apple 23" Cinema display. I have set both displays to generic 1920x1200 panel, and it only offers 1920x1440 and other standard resolutions. attached is pcitable.txt.
