I can confirm the original bug description, the symptoms are 100% the same. I have experienced it by using either Opera, Varicad or Yakuake. System info: Kubuntu Dapper 6.06.1; KDE 3.5.3; 2.6.15-26-686; nvidia proprietary drivers.
