I'm getting this error with a Canon IP3000, Ubuntu 7/04, using the Turboprint driver. I've had no problems until now, using it for about four months.
I've installed these two updates (at least) since I last used the printer: Commit Log for Sat Sep 8 17:16:06 2007 Upgraded the following packages: libkrb53 (1.4.4-5ubuntu3.2) to 1.4.4-5ubuntu3.3 Commit Log for Wed Sep 5 08:24:39 2007 Upgraded the following packages: libkrb53 (1.4.4-5ubuntu3.1) to 1.4.4-5ubuntu3.2 My error log has only this: E [07/Sep/2007:13:56:46 +0100] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" E [07/Sep/2007:13:58:59 +0100] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" E [08/Sep/2007:08:47:42 +0100] Creating missing directory "/var/run/cups/certs" But is this a totally different bug - should I create a "new" bug report?
