Hi, I re-install ubuntu 14.04 totally. The fan in ubuntu still runs much noisy than windows. There is no additional driver in this system. the gc is ATI RV770 (Radeon HD 4850). i follow this guidance https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RadeonDriver#Kernel_3.11.x_.28Ubuntu_13.10.2BAC8-Saucy.29_and_Later. but nothing to slow down the fan speed. So could you give me some help? it is really noisy and disturb my work. Thanks.
