How come do we not see this when the updated QtBearer plugin isn't installed?
What this tells me is something is asking NM to activate a connection when it already is; so rather than looking at NetworkManager, I'd look at whatever is activating connections. indicator-network/connectivity- api maybe? or the APN editor? Nov 7 16:39:07 ubuntu-phablet NetworkManager[1333]: <info> (/ril_0): disconnecting for new activation request. Nov 7 16:39:07 ubuntu-phablet NetworkManager[1333]: <info> (/ril_0): device state change: activated -> disconnected (reason 'none') [100 30 0] Nov 7 16:39:07 ubuntu-phablet NetworkManager[1333]: <info> (/ril_0): deactivating device (reason 'none') [0] ^ This isn't done by NetworkManager. It seems to be consistently happening after 20-25 seconds of being connected. Please try to increasing the logging in NetworkManager (add --log- level=debug to the exec line /etc/init/network-manager.conf), and attach syslog again, maybe there is something to be found out from there. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1357321 Title: [TOPBLOCKER] QNetworkAccessManager doesn't support roaming on Ubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/platform-api/+bug/1357321/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
