Public bug reported: gimp-ufraw should probably moved to the main repo/live cd.
gimp-ufraw is a relatively small plugin to the gimp, which allows photographers to properly import RAW photos. WIth a default Ubuntu install, The GIMP is not capable of importing RAW photos. Most photographers will not know they need to install 'gimp- ufraw', and therefore conclude Ubuntu cannot handle RAW photos. We can prevent this by including gimp-ufraw by default. Especially since gimp-ufraw/libexiv together are only 0.5MB. ** Affects: ufraw (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gimp-ufraw should be included by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/138419 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
