Just curious, but on pentium-based laptops, are p4_clockmod (etc.) getting loaded by default?
If not, should they be? (I find on my desktop P4 computer, I get "throttling <not supported>" and have to load p4_clockmod manually (in /etc/modules or via modprobe) in order to get throttling support. For me, this is significant, because even P4-based desktops I've seen seem to get too hot over extended periods of "normal" use.) -- CPU overheats during high usage "throttling <not supported>" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/22336 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
