I'm using the Openbox session in Lubuntu 14.10. I see
(nm-applet:1887): GLib-GObject-WARNING **:
/build/buildd/glib2.0-2.42.0/./gobject/gsignal.c:3101: signal id '193' is
invalid for instance '0xc0c5a0'
being written to ~/.xsession-errors repeatedly as long as the session lasts.
I don't see the other messages that Martin sees.
$ pgrep -l nm-applet

$ apt-cache policy network-manager-gnome
