Public bug reported: I've been trying to create a simple pong game using QML and I ended up with something working on desktop and in portrait mode on my tablet. But when I rotate the screen, the top part of the "game board" is hidden and overflows the screen.
I've asked for help here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/541214/how- can-i-detect-screen-rotation-with-qml and on IRC #ubuntu-app-devel According to DanChapman: "It looks like that could be a bug in the MainView's OrientationHelper. It looks as though the page isn't being clipped properly to accomodate the header so the rectangle ends up overlaying it. You should file a bug for it (if there isn't one already)" Here are some pictures quickly taken with a potato: https://plus.google.com/117415521410663758843/posts/NxtEsJV44K7 Since I am unable to find an explanation for this, I am filling this report as I also think it is a bug. ** Affects: ubuntu-ui-toolkit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1385654 Title: MainView's OrientationHelper: page isn't being clipped properly to accomodate the header To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-ui-toolkit/+bug/1385654/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
