It looks like a package either became corrupt during the download or on
disk:

Oct 16 18:48:51 this ubiquity: dpkg-deb (subprocess): decompressing archive
member: lzma error: compressed data is corrupt
Oct 16 18:48:51 this ubiquity: dpkg-deb: error: subprocess <decompress>
returned error exit status 2
Oct 16 18:48:51 this ubiquity: dpkg: error processing archive
/target/var/cache/apt/archives/nvidia-opencl-icd-331_331.38-0ubuntu7.1_amd64.deb
 (--unpack):
Oct 16 18:48:51 this ubiquity: cannot copy extracted data for
'./usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnvidia-opencl.so.331.38' to
'/target/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnvidia-opencl.so.331.38.dpkg-new':
unexpected end of file or stream

I'd try installing without downloading updates or just try the
installation again to see if that resolves the issue.
