It would appear to be this bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=719681
which was fixed in goffice 0.10.10 which was released concurrently with gnumeric 1.12.10. See http://www.gnumeric.org/announcements/1.12/gnumeric-1.12.10.html Utopic has gnumeric 1.12.17 so backporting that to Trusty would appear to be one option. ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #719681 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=719681 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1314393 Title: Gnumeric chart customize breaks in Trusty Tahir To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnumeric/+bug/1314393/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
