I have tested using the following packages (their date is 06 Oct 2014): linux-headers-3.17.0-031700_3.17.0-031700.201410060605_all.deb linux-headers-3.17.0-031700-generic_3.17.0-031700.201410060605_amd64.deb linux-image-3.17.0-031700-generic_3.17.0-031700.201410060605_amd64.deb
The problem still present. I am not sure if it is relevant, but in the bug report "Lenovo Yxx0 mute indicator not work" (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16373) concerning mute LED usage implementation for Lenovo Y550-4CWI, it was stated by Takashi Iwai that LED may be "wrongly on at non-mute time", but that patch was not tested by the original reporter. ** Bug watch added: Linux Kernel Bug Tracker #16373 http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16373 ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists- upstream-3.17 ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1380249 Title: [Lenovo IdeaPad Y550P] Mute LED indication is inverted To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1380249/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
