Public bug reported: I would like for Keepass to associate the Ctrl+Q key combination with the File >> Exit menu action.
This would be in keeping with the standard behaviour for Ubuntu applications, which associate Ctrl+Q with File >> Quit. Although the specific menu item differs here (“Quit” vs. “Exit”), and I am not sure what Keepass’s behaviour is on other platforms, I think that Ctrl+Q should be preferred over an alternative such as Alt+X. This would keep with the practice in other software, such as LibreOffice, which includes an “Exit” option associated with Ctrl+Q. For consistency, however, I would also suggest renaming Keepass’s menu item to “Quit” instead of “Exit”. Please let me know if you prefer that I file a separate bug for this request, but it seems to me to be very closely linked to the issue here.
