Public bug reported:

Scrolling through syslog, if an event occurs I am changed to Xorg.0.log
and must reselect view of syslog all over again from scratch.

I expect to be able to continue viewing syslog or Xorg.0.log or auth.log
or dpkg.log as desired until I change the log file I want to view.
