  I found it takes more than half a minute to load ACPI modules and start HALd 
on my Thinkpad R51e-2xc, with Feisty RC live CD.
  The computer looks dead in those  two steps.
  
  This problem happened at the first release of Feisty Beta and it was ok after 
once I upgraded the system.
  But now it happened again.
