As shown by the sketch, I did not design System Settings with mono icons in mind. :-) And the icon style was not mentioned during the System Settings session in Cape Town.
Anyway, Benjamin has decided that for now at least: * Battery should use color only when battery is low, like the indicator icon does; * categories with an overall on/off state -- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi -- should have a colored icon when in the on state; * all other icons should be monochrome. If Matthieu is correct that colorful icons already exist, providing the color variants for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi should be quick. But if that can't be done by RTM, Benjamin's second preference is for all icons to be monochrome, including Battery. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1351383 Title: system settings are entirely monochrome except for the battery icon To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-ux/+bug/1351383/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
