The list of recently-used applications is properly written (although I had a single entry which was not prefixed with `file://', the application browser launched by main-menu; other applications launched through it are saved correctly). I also confirmed this with a test program using GtkRecentManager and retrieving the items. But somehow they get lost between slab and main-menu and debugging of applets is not that easy IMHO.
