Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kcontrol

Version: Kubuntu 7.10 (updated Feisty), kcontrol: 4:3.5.7-1ubuntu17,
guidance-backends: 0.8.0svn20070727-0ubuntu3
Since: 02.09.2007, after an update the day before
Problem: When I start kcontrol, i see no modules for configuration. When I try
to config a taskbar with the context menu, i get an empty window. So I can't
config anything and I think that it could be connected to the guidance-backends.
When I try to start kcontrol over a terminal, i get:
kcontrol: WARNING: No K menu group with X-KDE-BaseGroup=settings found !
Defaulting to Settings/

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
