unity --replace didn't work immediately:
0) Switch to VT1 using Ctrl + Alt + F1, logged in
1) unity --replace
=> a lot of errors and warnings (see the attached file) such as:
ERROR unity.debug.interface DebugDBusInterface.cpp:216 Unable to load entry
point in libxpathselect: libxpathselect.so.1.4: Ne peut ouvrir le fichier
d'objet partagé: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
ERROR unityo (appinfo2) <unknown>:0 g_file_monitor_set_rate_limit: assertion

ERROR unity.launcher.icon.trash TrashLauncherIcon.cpp:66 Could not create file
monitor for trash uri: Opération non prise en charge
ERROR unity.glib.dbus.server GLibDBusServer.cpp:524 DBus name lost

ERROR unity.session.gnome GnomeSessionManager.cpp:357 Gnome Session call
failed: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.gnome.SessionManager was not provided by any .service files
2) Ctrl + C
3) Switch back to Ctrl + Alt + F7, no need to log in
4) Right click on the dashboard to open a terminal and run "nohup unity
--replace &", wait and close the terminal.

I have a dual screen with windows tied to some viewports.
