Similar here on Mint 17. I manually setup ecryptfs and used ecryptfs-setup-swap to encrypt the swap parition. However, my swap partition lost its UUID thous rendering the UUID entry in /etc/crypttab useless. Changing the entry to /dev/sda2 solved it.
