Public bug reported: calibre 2.0.0 was released a few days ago: http://calibre-ebook.com /whats-new
The big change is the port from Qt 4 to Qt 5. The UI looks by and large the same (a few small style detail changes due to new Qt, but the layout and functionality is the same), and there are some new news sources (which happens all the time and are fairly harmless). I uploaded it to sid yesterday: https://packages.qa.debian.org/c/calibre/news/20140826T192152Z.html I tested it on Debian unstable and on curren Utopic, and it's working well. I'd like to see this in Utopic (i. e. sync), to get rid of another popular user of Qt4 (I could now purge Qt4 from my workstation \o/). ** Affects: calibre (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1361964 Title: FFE: Port to Qt5 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calibre/+bug/1361964/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
