Public bug reported: There is an error in the syntax where the MAC address does not match if the alpha characters are upper case rather than all lower case. For example, these rules are not matched properly:
ENV{MATCHADDR}=="00:0c:29:*|00:50:56:*|00:05:69:*|00:1C:14:*" -> should be 00:1c:14:* ENV{MATCHADDR}=="00:12:5A:*" -> should be "00:12:5a:*" ENV{MATCHADDR}=="00:17:FA:*" -> should be "00:17:fa:*" ENV{MATCHADDR}=="00:50:F2:*" -> should be "00:50:f2:*" ENV{MATCHADDR}=="Dc:B4:c4:*" -> should be "dc:b4:c4:*" ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Ben Howard (utlemming) Status: Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1361272 Title: error in udev rules for hyperv net rules To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1361272/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
