Dell Studio 1558 with Intel CPU in i386 mode and four CPUs.
Most of the time wifi works perfectly. Occasionally, when using wifi
hotspots away from home, the system never makes a connection. Usually I
see similar stack traces in the syslog, but the attached extract is the
only example I have to hand.
The system is resuming after suspend, but I do not believe that aspect
is relevant. I have seen similar crashes after powering on, and (to
repeat myself) in more than one hot spot. I suspect there is an edge
case in negotiating with some wifi routers that is not handled properly.
(Perhaps I am prejudiced, but I get the feeling that the problem routers
are in iPhone-friendly environments).
