Hi,

I couldn't find the option setting, (in a bit of a rush right now) but
it does stay on top if playing, not if paused.

I'm using ubuntu 14.04 as it comes i.e. unity and whatever window
manager is standard.

Title:
smplayer window creeps up the screen when pause/resumed by spacebar

Status in “smplayer” package in Ubuntu:
   New

Bug description:
When smplayer is playing a video in a window it can be paused and
resumed by pressing the spacebar. Stragely, each time the spacebar is
pressed to pause or resume, the window creeps a few pixels up and to
the left of the screen. Eventually it reaches the top left corner,
where it stays. The effect occurs with all types of video (flv, mp4,
   wmv).

My smplayer is the version that comes with Ubuntu 14.04:

   Version: 14.3.0
Using Qt 4.8.6 (compiled with Qt 4.8.6)
   Using MPlayer2 2.0-701-gd4c5b7f-2ubuntu2

It isn't very serious from a user perspective but it says something
about the testing that has been done and may give a wrong impression
   to those considering using Linux.
