** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-panel With desktop effects turned on, this started happening after a couple of reboots. The first of any number of workspaces looks fine, but the others are missing the top and bottom gnome panels. The screens only have the desktop icons, but nothing else. When desktop effects are disabled, the workspaces work fine again.
