2014-08-09: I just went to verify my 14.04.1 downloads, and this is still an outstanding issue. In my opinion, the issue should be higher priority. Don't you want your users to be proactive and security-minded, checking the validity of their downloaded (especially if e.g. torrented) files?
Entirely unofficially, I'll list here the MD5 values I calculated for the ISO files I just downloaded directly, via browser, from ubuntu.com. I am not stating nor confirming that they are correct; this is simply what I found with my own downloads. 119cb63b48c9a18f31f417f09655efbd *ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso a4fc15313ef2a516bfbf83ce44281535 *ubuntu-14.04.1-desktop-i386.iso -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1349715 Title: Ubuntu hashes for 14.04.1 missing on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuHashes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-docs/+bug/1349715/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
