Sorry that I ask you again, but somehow the info i am looking for is
not in the daemon.log. Can you please sudo killall NetworkManager

then start NetworkManager like:

 NetworkManager --no-daemon 2>&1 | tee /tmp/nm.log

then try one association through nm applet ... and wait till it gives
up. Then attach /tmp/nm.log ?
