The new Xgl version now automatically starts. If you try to start it again in your startup session there will be problems.
Since it works fine in the normal session (where you don't try to run Xgl again), I'll mark this as invalid. However, I'll add a notification to the next Xgl version to mention that people should no longer use Xgl sessions. Additionally, your ATI 9800 card should be supported extremely well, and you shouldn't have to use xserver-xgl. There may be another problem there. ** Changed in: xserver-xgl (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- [gutsy] xgl no panel applets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/136322 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
