Another bug (fixed upstream) is that when new screensavers (hacks) are added, they are now automatically detected, and added to .xscreensaver.
So, if I install xscreensaver and the rss-glx extras, on Gutsy, with an empty home directory, the rss hacks do not appear in the xscreensaver-demo GUI. It's necessary to manually edit ~/.xscreensaver to add them! This was fixed years ago upstream!
