My guess is lucid is locked out due to lack of support... I can run this on the 14.04 text based install, but that's not going to show you the difference. What do you want me to do? I know when I looked at upgrading this a year ago, there was still some problems with intel and HDA audio, so I just figued I'd wait for the next LTS release.
