I have this bug on Ubuntu 14.0 with Alfa AWUS036NHR 2.0 I'm watching wavemon and the signal hovers around -50 dBm, but then increasing starts to swing more and more until I it's swinging from -40 dBm to -80 dBm. The connection is very fast initially but then becomes unusuable (hangs). I then need to disable networking to reload the networking before it works again.
