Public bug reported: When I switch users from the GNOME Shell main menu, the GDM screen comes up without the mouse pointer. The keyboard still works, but even if I log in to another user using just the keyboard, the mouse pointer does not appear in the new user session.
This problem is machine-specific: it doesn't happen on my desktop PC.
