I installed wfb manually like you advised here, it loads, but I still
can't load nvidia module itself, the X server just won't start.. The
xorg.conf settings for screen should be OK, when i change the driver
from "nvidia" to "nv" or "vesa", X starts normally. Before I used the
drivers compiled from nvidia.com, but then suddenly OpenGL applications
started to crash X server, so I wanted to try the nvidia-glx-new, since
it upgraded to 100.14.11. Now I'm not able to start X with "nvidia"
anyhow, even if I uninstall nvidia-glx-new and compile the drivers
myself. Compilation succeeds, but then still the same error as with
drivers from repository.
